Curriculum Statement

At Holy Trinity School we aim to enable pupils to develop a love of learning now and in their later life. We aim for them to fulfil their potential and leave Holy Trinity School literate, numerate, confident, having an awareness of faith and ready to contribute to society.

We ensure our pupils leave with the basic skills they require as well as a life which has been enriched through the additional activities we provide.

At the beginning of September 2014, the Government released a New National Curriculum which aims to provide pupils with an introduction to the essential knowledge that they need to be educated citizens. It introduces pupils to the best that has been thought and said; and helps engender an appreciation of human creativity and achievement.

At Holy Trinity Primary School we have designed our curriculum to closely meet the needs of all of our learners. Reading and writing is at the heart of all that we do, with the children being immersed in high quality texts and drama throughout their time at the school.
